WEDS.AA signed the MOU with YHCCF

On December 12, 2024, at the China-Cambodia Friendship Carnival event of the “Silk Road Heart to Heart” held grandly in Siem Reap, Cambodia, Zhao Meiling, President of the Women Empowerment & Development Society in Asia-Africa, and Vice Chairman and Secretary-General of the Youth House for Cambodia-China Friendship Organization Oknha. Sok Piseth signed a strategic cooperation agreement and simultaneously launched public welfare projects.

President Zhao Meiling said at the signing ceremony that this is a good start. We are gratified that we canmake amodest contribution to the friendship between the people of China and Cambodia, especially the youth.

The signing of this strategic cooperation agreement not only provides a strong guarantee for the cooperation between the Women Empowerment & Development Society in Asia-Africa and the Youth House for Cambodia-China Friendship Organization but also injects new impetus into the development of friendly relations between China and Cambodia. The two sides stated that they would take the signing of the strategic cooperation agreement as an opportunity to further strengthen communication and collaboration and jointly contribute to promoting the development of friendly relations between China and Cambodia.

The Youth House for Cambodia-China Friendship Organization was established on January 11, 2023, under the joint witness of Liu Jianchao, Minister of theInternational Department,Central Committee of CPC, and Hong Manet, Prime Minister of Cambodia. It aims to provide a platform for exchanges and cooperation between young people and entrepreneurs between Cambodia and China, deepen exchanges and cooperation between the two countries on youth, innovation, economy and trade, and promotemore remarkable development of bilateral relations. The current chairman isKim Runy, Director of the Liaison Department of the Youth Working Group of the Cambodia People’s Party.
