WEDS.AA President Zhao Meiling Attends Public Welfare Charity Donation Ceremony

On the afternoon of March 11, China Foundation for Peace and Development held a public welfare Charity donation ceremony. Partner of WEDS.AA, Huian County Charity Federation, donated materials valued at 1 million yuan, while FOHERB GROUP contributed 1 million yuan.

Xian Hui, Vice Chairperson of National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference and Chairperson of the Foundation, attended the ceremony and presented donation certificates to the representatives of the donors.

Chen Ronghuang, Deputy County Head of Huian County, Fujian Province, and representative of the Huian County Charity Federation, stated that the donation from Huian County is not only a vivid example of using local industrial advantages to support public welfare but also a witness to the collaborative efforts to promote education development. He expressed his sincere hope that the donated materials, embodying the craftsmanship of Huian’s industries and the goodwill of its people, would improve learning conditions and light the educational dreams of children in Asian and African countries. He also hoped that this act of kindness would showcase the willingness of Huian’s people and the depth of its industries to the world. Chen expressed his hope for deeper cooperation with the foundation to achieve mutual empowerment and shared development between charity and industrial growth.

Han Jinming, Chairman of FOHERB GROUP, remarked that FOHERB GROUP is both a practitioner and a beneficiary of the Belt and Road Initiative. He stated that donating to the “Silk Road Happiness” Special Fund is a meaningful and practical effort to increase mutual care and people-to-people connections. He expressed pride in participating in this initiative and hoped to continue working closely with China Foundation for Peace and Development to contribute to the development of “Silk Road Happiness” charitable causes and bring warmth and care from China to the people along the Belt and Road.

Chairperson Xian Hui highly commended their kind action to public welfare.
