Chairman Zhao Meiling calls on Gabon President’s wife

On September 6, 2024, Zhao Meiling, president of the Women Empowerment & Development Society in Asia-Africa, was invited to call on Ms.Zita OLIGUI NGUEMA, wife of the President of Gabon.President Zhao introduced the public welfare and charity activities carried out by the Women Empowerment & Development Society in Asia-Africa in Gabon and other African countries.

President Zhao said that children are the hope of the country and the world. The “Kits of Love in five African countries” project was successfully implemented in Gabon.Through the implementation of the project, the friendship between the people of China and Gabon has been further deepened and consolidated, laying a solid foundation for the long-term development of bilateral relations.The two sides also held in-depth discussions on further strengthening cooperation. The Women Empowerment & Development Society in Asia-Africa will continue to contribute to promoting the development and cooperation of Asian and African women and work together to build a community with a shared future for mankind.
