A Distinctive China-Arab Cultural Exchange
On July 28, 2025, Dr. Zhao Meiling, President of the Women Empowerment & Development Society in Aisa-Africa, carried out a distinctive cultural exchange event with a delegation of Arab judges at the Guochuang Academy. In her speech, President Zhao expressed her honor at the opportunity to communicate with legal experts from Arab nations. She emphasized that the exchange of different cultures fosters understanding between people, serving as a bond and bridge connecting hearts and minds. The enduring friendship between China and Arab countries is both time enduring and strong. President Zhao highlighted the significant responsibility legal experts bear in upholding fairness, justice, and social progress, underscoring the importance of exchanges and cooperation between Chinese and Arab judges.
The video presentation “Friendship Across the World” introduced WEDS.AA’s mission and its international philanthropy projects, receiving high praise from the attending guests.
Artists from the Central Conservatory of Music, along with young performers, presented wonderful programs. The elegant guzheng performance, the stirring melody of piano and saxophone solos, the uniquely charming folk songs, and the Peking Opera and face-changing acts elicited frequent applause. The event reached its climax with the performance of “Love in Asia-Africa” sung by young performers Zhao Wanchen and Liu Zhiyu.
Dr. Liang Dai, a renowned calligrapher, provided an insightful and accessible introduction to Chinese calligraphy. The rich and diverse exchange program concluded with resounding success.
