President Zhao calls on Princess Norodom Arunrasmy of Cambodia

On December 16, 2024, Ms Zhao Meiling, President of the Women Empowerment & Development Society in Asia-Africa（WEDS.AA）, visited to Princess Norodom Arunrasmy of Cambodia while in Cambodia.

During the visit, President Zhao introduced to Princess Norodom Arunrasmy to the purpose of the WEDS.AA and its work in recent years. She said that the WEDS.AA has been committed to charity activities for women and children in Asian and African countries, including education, medical care, infrastructure construction, etc., and has achieved remarkable results.

At the same time, the two sides also had in-depth exchanges on issues such as how to strengthen women’s exchanges and cooperation, promote women’s participation in economic development, and improve women’s education levels. We hope that the two sides can further strengthen cooperation. It is believed that with the joint efforts of both sides, the cooperation between the WEDS.AA and Cambodia will achieve more fruitful results and make more significant contributions to promoting the cause of women’s development.
