Grateful mother inheritance and development
More than 30 Chinese and foreign guests including the Ambassador of Cyprus to China, the wife of the Ambassador of Benin to China and the wife of the Ambassador of Ghana to China were invited to attend the event.
The song “Mom I Love You”, sung by students from Sihai Confucius Academy, kicked off the event.
Ms. Zhao Meiling, President of the Women Empowerment and Development Society in Asia-Africa, delivered the first speech. She extended a warm welcome to all guests from home and abroad, and extended her high respect and best wishes to all mothers. She pointed out that the mother’s national feelings and human feelings are glorious and sacred missions and heavy responsibilities. Every ordinary mother has a great heart. She dedicates all her love to her family, to the society, and to the earth on which human beings live. A mother’s love is the most selfless, the greatest. We learn more about traditional Chinese culture by visiting Confucius Academies in the four seas, learn from the wisdom of Chinese sages, and carry forward mother’s feelings of family, country and humanity. Let maternal love benefit the family, benefit the society and benefit the whole mankind. If everyone gives a love, the world will be full of love.
Feng Zhe, director of Sihai Confucius Academy, gave a keynote speech on the theme of “Thanksgiving for Mother, Singing for Love”. He focused on the mother culture of the Chinese nation, the culture of filial piety, the Chinese people’s concept of the four seas, the world is one family. He is deep and simple, quotes from a wide range of sources, and tells the story, which is fascinating.
Ms. Martha Mavromattis, Ambassador of Cyprus to China, and Ms. Christiane, wife of Ambassador of Benin, delivered speeches respectively. They pointed out that the children’s songs were heartfelt and heartfelt, praising their mothers, which was very touching.
