Xizang Dingri Delegation Exploring Beauty of Nature and Cosmos
On July 30, 2025, the delegation of teachers and students from Wengga Primary School in Dingri County, Shigatse, Xizang, began the third day of their exploratory journey in Beijing. Dressed in T-shirts and brimming with energy, the children spent a day filled with knowledge and joy at the Beijing Zoo and Beijing Planetarium.

Upon arriving at the Beijing Zoo, the diverse array of animal species immediately captured the children’s attention. They mimicked the movements of various creatures, filling the venue with laughter and cheer. Whether it was the majestic lions or the playful little monkeys, the animals held the children’s gaze spellbound, their eyes sparkling with curiosity and delight—as if they had stepped into a vivid, living classroom of nature.

In the afternoon, the group filled with anticipation, entered the Beijing Planetarium to embark on a journey exploring the mysteries of the cosmos. The moment they stepped inside, the allure of the vast starry sky captivated every child. In the planetarium’s dome theater, a simulated starry sky unfolded slowly, drawing waves of wonder; in the interactive exhibition area, children clustered around astronomical instruments, carefully operating them as their eyes glowed with longing for the unknown, igniting their aspirations for boundless possibilities in the future.

Through firsthand experiences, seeds of dreams to explore the unknown and pursue science were planted in the children’s hearts. This was not merely a transfer of knowledge but also a continuation of love and hope, deepening their sense of national pride and social responsibility. This extraordinary experience has added a vibrant and significant stroke to the children’s path of growth.
