Chairman Zhao Meiling calls on Malawi President’s wife

On September 3, 2024, Zhao Meiling, president of the Women Empowerment & Development Society in Asia-Africa, was invited to call on Monica Chakwera, wife of the President of Malawi.President Zhao introduced the public welfare and charity activities carried out by the Women Empowerment & Development Society in Asia-Africa in Malawi and other African countries, and conducted in-depth discussions on further strengthening cooperation between the two sides.

This visit not only enhanced the understanding and friendship between  the Women Empowerment & Development Society in Asia-Africa and the wife of the President of Malawi, but also laid a solid foundation for the further development of China-Africa women’s exchanges and cooperation.We hope that in the days to come, Chinese and African women can carry out more in-depth cooperation and exchanges in more fields and jointly contribute to building a community with a shared future for mankind.
