Dignitaries of Multiple Countries Joined the Team of the WEDS.AA

On October 31th, 2023, the 3rd Asia-Africa Women’s Development and Cooperation Forum was successfully held in Hong Kong.

During the forum, H.E. Joyce Banda, former president of Malawi and honorary chairwoman of the Women Empowerment & Development Society in Asia-Africa(WEDS.AA), and Ms. Meiling Zhao, President of the WEDS.AA, jointly presented certificates of honorary vice-chairman of the WEDS.AA to Ms. Azerb Mesfin, wife of Meles, the former Prime Minister of Ethiopia, and to Ms. Pansy Ho, Member of the Standing Committee of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) and Chairwoman of the Hong Kong Federation of Women; Senior advisor certificates were presented to H.E. Ariunzaya Ayush, Secretary of the Mongolian People’s Party, to H.E. ING KANTHA PHAVI M.D., Minister of Women’s Affairs of Cambodia, to Dr. Marcellina, Principal of Mwalimu Julius Nyerere Leadership School in Tanzania, and and to H.E. Martha, Member of Parliament of Namibia.

The cause of women is a great cause. It needs to unite caring people from all countries, gather wisdom and strength from all walks of life, and work together to realize the great goal. We firmly believe that with the tireless efforts of all of us, tomorrow will be a better day.
