“Silk Road Happiness” Special Fund of CFPD

The “Silk Road Happiness” special fund of the China Foundation for Peace and Development was launched by the Beijing Madam Cultural Center in Beijing on June 21, 2023. The initial fund of the special fund is 5 million yuan, all donated by caring enterprises.

China Foundation for Peace and Development(CFPD） is a national charitable foundation specializing in international public welfare. Gao Yunlong, Chairman of the Board of Directors of CFPD, is also Vice Chairman of the National Committee of CPPCC and Chairman of the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce. Since its founding, CFPD has carried out about more than 100 charitable livelihood projects in more than 40 countries with accumulated investments of over 300 million yuan (RMB) and benefited millions of people.

The Women Empowerment and Development Society in Asia-Africa(WEDS.AA) unite women from all countries and all walks of life as well as public-spirited people from all walks of life, discuss the cause of women’s development, build a platform for exchange and mutual learning, and share the welfare of women’s development. Through publicity and education, personnel training, academic exchanges, and various themed activities on women’s development and rights, the aim is to help women, especially women in Asia and Africa. Meanwhile, we’d like to improve their ability to adapt to the development of the era and enhance their social status and happiness. It regularly organizes Sino-foreign cultural exchange activities and Asian-African Women’s Development and Cooperation Forum.

The Silk Road Happiness Special Fund will work closely with the WEDS.AA for the Promotion of Women and Asian and African countries to carry out various forms of public welfare and charitable activities for women and children in underdeveloped areas in Asia and Africa. including education, health care, infrastructure, emergency relief, people-to-people exchanges and so on. The establishment of the “Special Fund” will effectively bring together the forces of all sectors of society, provide loving enterprises and individuals concerned with the development of women and children in Asia and Africa with various opportunities to offer love and show their boundless feelings of great love, promote the improvement of the living conditions of women and children in Asia and Africa, and contribute to the construction of a community with a shared future for mankind and the realization of common development of mankind.

中国和平发展基金会 “丝路幸福”专项基金简介

中国和平发展基金会“丝路幸福”专项基金是由北京玛德姆文化中心于2023年6月21日在北京发起设立，专项基金初始资金为500万元人民币，全部由爱心企业捐赠。

中国和平发展基金会是经民政部批准的慈善组织，业务主管单位是中共中央对外联络部，拥有联合国经社理事会特别咨商地位，于2011年1月在北京成立。办会宗旨是传播和平发展理念，开展国际公益项目和人文交流活动，支持中国民间组织开展国际交流，增进中国与世界各国人民之间的相互了解和友好合作，促进世界和平发展与共同繁荣。现任理事长是全国政协副主席、全国工商联主席高云龙。自成立以来，基金会在全球40多个国家（重点是亚非地区）开展了近100多个民生公益项目，累计投入超过3亿元人民币，数十万人从中直接受益。

亚非妇促会是团结各国女士以及各界热心公益人士，共谋女性发展事业的合作平台。通过对女性发展和权益的宣传教育、人才培训、学术交流，以及各类相关主题活动的开展，唤起国际社会对女性权益保障与发展的关注，帮助女性、特别是亚非女性提高适应时代发展的能力，提升女性的社会地位和幸福指数。妇促会定期举办中外女性文化交流活动及亚非女性发展与合作论坛。

“丝路幸福”专项基金将与亚非妇促会和亚非国家紧密合作，专门面向亚非欠发达地区妇女儿童开展形式多样的公益慈善活动，包括教育、医疗、基础设施、紧急救助、人文交流等。“专项基金”的设立，将有效汇聚社会各界力量，为关心亚非妇女儿童发展的爱心企业和个人提供奉献爱心、展现大爱无疆情怀的各种契机，促进亚非妇女儿童改善生活境遇，为构建人类命运共同体、实现人类共同发展贡献力量。
