Review of exchange and cooperation between Women Empowerment and Development Society in Asia-Africa and Bahrain
On April 18, 1989, China and Bahrain established diplomatic relations. Since the establishment of diplomatic ties, bilateral relations have developed smoothly, with steady progress in cooperation in politics, economy, culture, journalism and other fields. The Women Empowerment and Development Society in Asia-Africa has communicated and cooperated with the Bahraini Embassy in China on many occasions and discussed cooperation matters, making important contributions to promoting the development of women in China and Pakistan as well as the economic and cultural exchanges between the two countries.
On the afternoon of June 4, 2020, the core members of WEDS.AA held a seminar on “Chinese Medicine Going Global” at the Bahraini Embassy in China. Participants: Ms. Zhou Xiuhua, Chief Advisor and former Chinese Ambassador to Qatar and Syria, Dr. Anwar Al-Abdallah, Senior Advisor and current Head of the Arab League Mission and Ambassador of Bahrain to China, Ms. Xu Yinghua, Member of the Women Empowerment and Development Society in Asia-Africa, veteran official of The State Council and non-hereditary bearer of paper-cut, Prof. Wang Yanli, Director of the Expert Committee of the Women Empowerment and Development Society in Asia-Africa, and Zhao Meiling, President of the Women Empowerment and Development Society in Asia-Africa.
On September 28, 2020, President of WEDS.AA Zhao Meiling and Deputy Secretary SOPHIE were invited to visit H.E. Anwar Al-Abdullah, Ambassador of Bahrain to China, to discuss China-Pakistan cooperation on women, medical supplies and other issues.
On the afternoon of October 10, 2020, President of WEDS.AA Zhao Meiling, Senior Advisor of WEDS.AA Ambassador Liu Denglin and Assistant to President Shalif accompanied H.E. Anwar Al-Abdallah, Ambassador of Bahrain to China, to visit Junfeng Spectrum Co., Ltd. and discuss related cooperation issues with Bahrain.
On November 28-29, 2020, at the invitation of Junfeng Spectrum Company, Ms. Zhao Meiling, President of Women Empowerment and Development Society in Asia-Africa and Ambassador of Bahrain to China visited Junfeng Spectrum Guangzhou Headquarters, Junfeng Mingxin Rehabilitation Center and Junfeng Chuxintang Traditional Chinese Medicine Center. Since its establishment 31 years ago, Junfeng Spectrum Company has been adhering to scientific and technological innovation, providing 360-degree solutions for healthy family lifestyle from sunlight, air and water. The Women Empowerment and Development Society in Asia-Africa is also ready to go all out to build our national brand Junfeng Spectrum Company into an internationally influential brand to provide health services to more people in the world.
On the afternoon of December 25, 2020, the Ambassador of Bahrain to China, in response to the guidelines of the outstanding leaders of the two countries, to realize the common interests of the two countries, to realize the goals and vision of the Belt and Road Strategy and Bahrain’s Economic Vision 2030, once again authorized the Women Empowerment and Development Society in Asia-Africa to cooperate in all aspects, and expressed his heartfelt thanks to the past efficient cooperation results.
At the same time, Ms. Zhao Meiling, President of Women Empowerment and Development Society in Asia-Africa, together with General Manager Yang and General Manager Liang of Changchun Chenyu Biomedical Technology Co., Ltd. paid a visit to His Excellency Ambassador of Bahrain to discuss related cooperation matters.
On the afternoon of April 8, 2021, Jiang Feng, CEO of Shengnong Wuyuan Technology Company, arranged by Women Empowerment and Development Society in Asia-Africa Committee, paid a successful visit to the Ambassador of Bahrain to China to discuss related cooperation matters.
On the afternoon of July 4, 2021, Zhao Meiling, president of the Women Empowerment and Development Society in Asia-Africa, shared a Jikang oral probiotic tablet candy sent by a friend to the ambassadors. The Bahraini ambassador with chronic pharyngitis reported that the effect was good, and put forward several valuable suggestions for the product to enter the international market.
On the afternoon of August 5, 2021, H.E. Dr. Anwar Al Abdullah, Ambassador of Bahrain to China, and Ms. Zhao Meiling, President of Women Empowerment and Development Society in Asia-Africa, jointly coordinated and arranged the online seminar for medical institutions in China and Bahrain (Arabian Gulf Medical Center and Guangzhou Junfeng Spectrum Company) with great success. The two sides reached a preliminary cooperation agreement on Junfeng Spectrum to set up a traditional Chinese medicine rehabilitation department in Bahrain.
On the afternoon of August 6, 2021, the Bahraini Ambassador to China and the Women Empowerment and Development Society in Asia-Africa Committee were invited to visit the Beijing Miyun Pharmaceutical Factory of Handian Group to discuss related cooperation matters.
On the afternoon of August 10, 2021, the Women Empowerment and Development Society in Asia-Africa Committee received a letter of appreciation from His Excellency Bahraini Ambassador to China to President Lin of Handian Group. I would like to thank the Bahraini Ambassador for his high recognition of Chinese TCM enterprises and TCM and his confidence in assisting TCM enterprises to cooperate in the Middle East Gulf countries.
On the afternoon of August 19, 2021, H.E. Dr. Anwar Al-Abdallah, Ambassador of Bahrain to China, delivered a keynote speech at the online conference of the 5th China-Arab States Expo — China-Arab States Technology Transfer and Innovation Cooperation Conference. On the afternoon of December 25, 2020, the Ambassador of Bahrain to China, in response to the guidelines of the outstanding leaders of the two countries, to realize the common interests of the two countries, to realize the goals and vision of the Belt and Road Strategy and Bahrain’s Economic Vision 2030, reauthorized the Women Empowerment and Development Society in Asia-Africa to cooperate in all aspects. And expressed his heartfelt thanks for the past productive cooperation.
On August 28, 2021, the China-Pakistan Friendship Association and the Award ceremony of the first Asian-African Women Ambassadors was a great success.
On August 31, 2021, Assistant Foreign Minister Deng Li met with outgoing Bahraini Ambassador to China Abdul Rahim Anwar.
