WEDS.AA embassy visits and International exchanges
On the afternoon of May 13, 2020, at the invitation of H.E. Ambassador Mohamed ElBadri of the Egyptian Embassy in China, Ms. Zhou Xiuhua, former Chinese Ambassador to Syria and Ms. Zhao Meiling, President of the Women Empowerment and Development Society in Asia-Africa, Chief Advisor of the Women Empowerment and Development Society in Asia-Africa, discussed the establishment of ties and cooperation between the Women Empowerment and Development Society in Asia-Africa and women’s organizations in Egypt.
On the afternoon of May 26, 2020, Ms. Zhao Meiling, President of WEDS.AA, was invited to visit Mr. Jose Antonio Rodriguez, Minister Plenipotentiary of the Embassy of the Republic of Mozambique, to discuss in depth the cooperation on women, economy and trade between the two countries.
On the afternoon of June 8, 2020, at the invitation of H.E. Simone Adoweland, Ambassador of the Republic of Benin to China, Ms. Chiu visited the Embassy of Benin to discuss the cooperation between China and Benin on women.
On 9 June 2020, at the invitation of H.E. Ernest Ndomasina, Ambassador of the Republic of Sierra Leone to China, Ms. Zhao Mei-ling of Women Empowerment and Development Society in Asia-Africa visited the Embassy of Sierra Leone and the Embassy of Nigeria in China to discuss cooperation between Asian and African women.
On 9 June 2020, at the invitation of the Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Mr. Bavar Lawal, Ms. Zhao Meiling of the Women Empowerment and Development Society in Asia-Africa visited the Embassy of Nigeria in China to discuss cooperation issues related to Asian and African women.
